About the service

Shockwave Therapy

Your physiotherapist determines whether shockwave therapy is appropriate after reviewing your symptoms, history and physical findings. The treatment area and settings are selected according to your presentation and tolerance.

Treatment can feel intense or uncomfortable for some people, but settings can be adjusted. Temporary tenderness may occur. Your physiotherapist will review relevant precautions before treatment.
